The Tale of DELTA RUNE

The Prophecy, which whispers
among the shadows.
The legend of this world.
DELTARUNE

A world basked in purest Light.
Beneath it, grew eternal Night.
If the fountains freed, the Roaring cries.
And Titans shape from darkened eyes.

The Light and Dark, both burning dire.
A countdown to the Earth's expire.
But lo, on Hopes and Dreams they send.
Three Heroes at the world's end.

The first Hero. The Cage,
With human Soul and parts!
The third Hero. The Prince,
Alone in deepest Dark.

The pointy-headed will say "toothpaste"
and then "boy".

And last, was the Girl.
At last, was the Girl.
The second hero. The Girl,
With Hope crossed on her heart.
Love finds its way to the Girl.

The Knight, which makes
With blackened knife.
Shall duel with Heroes
Strife by strife.

The Queen's chariot
Stopped by none.
The Lord of screens
Cleaved red by blade.
The Flower man
Trapped in asylum.

They'll hear the ring of Heaven's call.
They'll see the tail of Hell take crawl.
The last Prophecy.
The story's end.

And then, when all Hope
is lost for the tale.
The final tragedy
Unveils.

To save the worlds,
There is only one way.
The Girl's Love. Hope embodied.
Sent to Heaven by the Heroes' hands.

Only then,
Will the worlds be saved.
The Angel, banished, will
Finally meet with its desire.

The Origin of DELTA RUNE

Once, one Earth
A land of Humans
A land of Monsters
Small, tragic, yet overflowing
In Hopes and Dreams

Once, one Story
A book of Fantasy
A book of Reality
Anticlimactic and lacking
Both Beginning and End

Where Flesh and Bone
Meet Sword and Shield
Naught a Grave remains

Where Fire and Ice
Meet Spell and Rune
Only the Play concludes

But Lo! From the shoreline bay
The Fog approaches at Haste
And Human and Monster weep
For suffocating clouds keep
Dreams from falling Awake

So Low does Hope lay
On a page lacking ink stain
And Fantasy and REality blur
For the Surface cannot be discerned
Now Night reigns eternal over Day

A final Refuge insulated from all
Provides Shelter from wanderlust's thrall
The who Remains, the Hermit in chains
Writes one final Wish to outlast their pains

That the Sun may restore the sky
That the Savior may clear the Fog
That the Humans and Monsters may play again
That the Earth may change its look again
That the Story may start anew again

Thus the DELTA RUNE came alive
Thus the Hermit was frozen in time
And clouds would pass and trees would bloom
And from the Earth would rise Gerson Boom
